Why Are CAT Backhoe Loaders So Popular?

Backhoe loaders are very efficient units, composed of a loader, a backhoe and a tractor. As I see, the CAT backhoe loaders are the most popular ones, being sold in over 100,000 units since 1953. I may not have so much experience with backhoes, but I have used a CAT backhoe loader and I am very satisfied by it.
