The jib crane (see more Jib cranes) is a special
crane model that is capable to perform various lifting operations.
This lifting machine is generally used in industrial facilities and
workshops for lifting heavy items and equipment. In my opinion, the
biggest benefit provided by the jib crane is its ability to perform
four motions: hoisting motion, slewing motion, long travel motion and
luffing motion. This ability makes the jib crane one extremely
versatile machine that can be used for various applications.
