The dust that comes from the petrol cement mixer may cause eye, skin or respiratory tract irritation, while wet concrete may cause chemical burns. Wet concrete can cause serious injuries to the operators if water gets in contact with the electricity. Although the wires and all the electrical components are protected, when they get in contact with water, a lethal electric shock can appear. Also, long exposure to concrete dust may cause even lung cancer. So, when an operator gets a contact with cement in the eyes, he/she should rinse the eyes immediately. The same applies if cement get in contact with any other part of the body, rinse with water and soup immediately.

Another threat is the rotating drum and similar mechanical mechanisms. It brings a threat of catching a piece of clothes, long hair or jewelery and causing some serious injury. The material of which the concrete is being made, such as sand or cement, share a large amount of dust with the air, which is very dangerous, as mentioned in the previous paragraph. Probably, the most dangerous threat is if the fuel causes a fire. For example, overheating can cause fire and workers who smoke can worsen the fire. So, the operators need to use their petrol cement mixer with safety precautions in mind and always wear all kinds of protective clothes, to avoid serious burns or respiratory damages.
